Character: Vita Mortem, Human Druid, with a Neon Elemental
Vita always had a love for collecting and growing plants and beautiful displays of light. So, when he became of age to adventure, he set out to turn his dream of making a grand garden of light with plants, creatures, and artifacts that would illuminate even the darkest of nights into reality.
About Neon Elementals:
The second lightest noble gas after helium, neon is completely inert and never forms any compounds with other elements. Neon elementals are calm and serene, usually more concerned about their own inner peace than the world around them. They sometimes gather with other noble gas elementals to contemplate reality and watch the world go by together.
Mortal eyes can’t see neon unless it’s ionized, but sages and experienced alchemists can tell neon apart from its noble gas siblings thanks to its signature orange-red glow when affected by an electric field.
Particularly patient and persistent mortals who manage to befriend a neon elemental find out that it has no direct combat abilities, but a friendly neon elemental can extend some of the effects of its inert nature to those it trusts or use them to dampen the potential destructiveness of enemies.
Familiar. At the gamemaster’s discretion, a player character who can cast find familiar may choose the form of a neon elemental for their familiar.
