Character: Valtherixia, Tiefling Paladin
Valtherixia was once a prideful erinyes serving under the Arch Duchess of Hell Glasya. However, after a failed scheme against a rival chain devil and its master, she was demoted, stripped of most of her powers, bound with an infernal pact of servitude, and banished to the prime material plane with a list of objectives to complete as recompense for her failure.
Upon completing the list, her status as one of hell’s elites will be restored, but perhaps Val’s plans and ambitions will lead her down a different path…
About Hellmoths:
Likes: strong lights, hot winds, battle-hardened riders
Dislikes: self-righteous creatures, whining, cowardice
Flying high, fast, and often headlong to danger, hellmoths are rebellious fiends that refuse to submit to any form of authority or control. Deeply chaotic but neither good nor evil, hellmoths will literally do whatever the hell they want to seek thrill and adventure, including reckless flights to the world of mortals where they are often mistaken for dangerous and demonic corruptors.
Sometimes, a hellmoth will accept a rebellious and battle-hardened rider to fly free with it for a while, especially if the rider is eager to embark on chaotic adventures.
Greater Steed. At the gamemaster’s discretion, a player character who can obtain a greater steed through magic may choose the form of a hellmoth for their greater steed.
