Butterfly Wedding: Tosca Ishmaire, Half-Elf Cleric, and Thoroar Gellantara, Human Sorcerer

I made this illustration as a wedding gift pre-COVID and had to wait 1+ year for the wedding to post it!
Here’s a wedding gift I drew last year and have kept secret until a few days ago! Due to COVID-19, the wedding got delayed for a whole year, so I’ve been waiting to post this commission since early summer of 2020! (Also in two versions: colored and noir!)

Characters: Tosca Ishmaire, Half-Elf Cleric, and Thoroar Gellantara, Human Sorcerer
Tosca is a sweet and caring half-elf who wants to help everyone she meets. She carries a magical curse passed from her elven father, which drives her into a rage when she sees innocent people get hurt. In this state, she has no memory and no control of her actions. Only Thoroar can bring her out of this state with his magic and kind words.
Thoroar is a cocky sorcerer with a heart of gold. Though he relies on his charm and trusty fireball spells, he usually ends up getting his fellow adventurers in trouble, but always somehow manages to save the day. During their adventures together, he eventually began to have feelings for Tosca, but didn’t know if she felt the same way since she always scolded him for his cocky nature. When an illusionist cast a spell that made him switch bodies with Tosca and they got to share each other’s memories and thoughts, he learned that she also had feelings for him. Once they returned to their normal selves after defeating the illusionist and saving the princess of the neighboring kingdom Thoroar proposed to Tosca at night under the full moon in the castle garden with the moon butterflies. Eventually, Thoroar became the king of Witchwood after his father has passed away. He and Tosca settled down in a hidden village in the heart of Witchwood forest and have two children!
