Lyrana Blackwing, Dark Elf Bard
Lyrana Blackwing is a kind, flamboyant, and truly optimistic dark elf bard. Among her hedonistic and often cowardly people, Lyrana was one of the few dark elves brave enough to risk the wrath of the vengeful gods by venturing to the Overworld in a quest to spread hope with her art and beauty.
Lyrana loves compliments, being the center of attention, spreading love and joy, and also sexy paladins. While she dislikes violence, she knows that sometimes persuasion is not enough to turn the tide of battle against the warring gods of Naam.
Together with saintslayer and paladin hunk Edron Loys, and legendary halfling chef and transmuter Roula Stroumboulidou, Lyrana helped save the city of Neutro (now Salvatia) from godly annihilation and slay the aberrant demigod Neutro who lurked in the caverns below. Now a demigodslayer, Lyrana is hailed as one of the greatest living heroes of Theomachy.
Nirayne “Rain” Waveborn, Half-Sea Elf Storm Sorceress
Nirayne is a half-sea elf storm sorceress, her magic coming directly from the sea and the sky. The proud seafaring dwarves of clan Waveborn raised Nirayne as their own after finding her as a baby adrift in her crib at sea.
Nirayne grew up in Wavetown, one of the floating cities of the sea dwarves, exploring remote and exotic islands as Wavetown traveled the oceans.
When she was old enough, she boarded the legendary enchanted ship, Darkstorm, joining the rowdy crew of the infamous dark elf pirate Captain Kenthor “Ruby Eyes” Webcrest. With Nirayne’s magic, Captain Kenthor unlocked the Darkstorm’s true potential as one of the fastest ships in the seas of Naam.
Nirayne’s magic also animates the tattoos on her body. The starfish on her ankle always points north, and the wave patterns on her arm and her thigh change to reflect the surrounding weather.
Riya, Half-Elf Monk and Dragonling Warden
Riya is a calm and confident monk, and member of a monastic order that is devoted to rescuing dragon eggs and raising dragonlings. The Civil Dragonwars left many young dragons without wardens and monks such as Riya stepped in, helping raise dragonlings while keeping them safe from the corrupting influence of the warring gods.
Through the years, Riya has made many friends, including some dragons who later distinguished themselves in key battles across the Dragonrealms. She speaks perfect draconic and sometimes identifies more with fellow dragonborn monks and even dragons than elves and other half-elves who were raised in the elven city-states.
As a dragonling warden, Riya takes her responsibilities very seriously, but that doesn't mean she can't have some fun now and then. She particularly enjoys sparring with monks who can match her dexterity, as well as stripping plate-clad warriors of their armor.
