A courageous dark elf cleric and rogue with her silver elemental and her shroompy buddy Amanita that I drew for the Periodic Table of Elementals! https://www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/498792/periodic-table-of-elementals
Characters: Cagalli, Dark Elf Cleric and Rogue, with her Silver Elemental and her Shroompy, Amanita
Cagalli is the daughter of a reincarnated Goddess of Light and the descendant of a God of Dark.
She grew up not knowing any effect that this mix of bloodlines might have, spending most of her childhood exploring deep tombs and ruins across the world with her parents.
Cagalli became a curious explorer and avid treasure hunter. As she got older, she was dragged into a civil war caused by her father's old adventuring party before he retired, fighting hard for what she believed. Near the end of the war, she awakened a tremendous power in her mixed bloodlines, which came at a cost. After she used this power too much, a surge of magic pulled her away from her world.
When she next awoke, Cagalli found herself in a strange world with vastly different technologies, cultures, and landscapes. Most of her magic had also gone along with a lot of her battle prowess. Soon after she came under the protection of the goddess Eilistraee, eventually becoming a devoted cleric. With her newfound insight, Cagalli eventually discovered that she was trapped in an inevitable cycle that would warp her into another world after she recovered enough of her magical energy.
About Silver Elementals:
Silver elementals are usually bubbly, friendly, and confident thanks to their unique abilities and firsts among other elements, which may sometimes make them seem a bit self-important. Silver elementals will happily work together with other elementals to form alloys. They have a special bond with their group 11 siblings the copper and the gold elementals, as well as with the easygoing zinc elementals.
Silver shares many similarities with copper and gold, and its properties are somewhat between the two, reflecting its position on the periodic table. Silver is rarer than copper and more abundant than gold, but compared to them, it’s much more rarely found uncombined in nature.
Exotic Familiar. At the gamemaster’s discretion, player characters may spend time to earn the trust and the respect of a silver elemental. Silver elementals are too carefree and independent to respond to simple spells and won’t submit to warlock pacts, but they can be persuaded to act as exotic familiars for mortals who manage to befriend them.
About Shroompies:
Hardy and highly intelligent, shroompies, also known as mushroom puppies, are a curious combination between fungi and dogs. Their remarkable toughness and versatility have allowed shroompies to spread across many worlds. Wherever they find themselves, shroompies are instantly recognizable by their distinctive mushroom cap and the special skin membranes that allow them to glide.
The typical shroompy is curious, friendly, and remarkably eager to help, which has led shroompies to become best pals with numerous adventurers across the dimensions. Their ability to sniff out poison (if only to consume it), coupled with their fantastic reflexes when asked to fetch, makes shroompies invaluable allies, in addition to fun-loving buddies. Shroompies remember the orange color of their shroomog parent and instinctively like anything orange as a result.
