Creature Spotlight: Aluminium Elemental
Aluminium is one of the most abundant metals, yet its existence eluded scholars for millennia as it’s almost always found combined with other elements and especially oxygen. Uncombined aluminium is rare in nature, which made the element extremely valuable for the first mortals who managed to isolate it.
Aluminium elementals are light, lustrous, and plentiful, like the element they embody. They tend to flock together and will often mingle with other elementals while generally avoiding mortal settlements and those who would seek to use them for profit.
Particularly determined mortals who manage to earn the trust of aluminium elementals discover that they make for loyal and helpful friends, albeit with very limited fighting capabilities. Timid and fast-footed, aluminium elementals will almost always flee from danger and will avoid combat unless there are left with no other choice.
Familiar. At the gamemaster’s discretion, a player character who can cast find familiar may choose the form of an aluminium elemental for their familiar.
