Character Name: Vin Icefrost, Tabaxi Monk
Vin Icefrost grew up in Dark Moor, a port trading city in Buka. She apprenticed under the Dwarven Jeweler Fitrolim to the delight of her father, Softpad, who was an enforcer for the local guild and wanted a safer profession for his daughter.
The guild leader, Vincent Boulderbrook, had made a deal with Matron Harmony to provide children to her cathedral for religious training. In exchange, trade would be plenty and profitable for the city. Years later, Vincent cancelled the deal assuming he had gathered enough manpower, money and power to repel her response. He grossly underestimated her allies.
Hell descended on Dark Moor as waves of demons killed or captured everyone. Lines of defenses were built and destroyed in short order under the unrelenting assault. Vin fought alongside her father until he was slain and she was captured. She was magically dazed and sedated before being transported to Akako. During the trip she broke out of the mental bondage and overpowered the surprised guard before fleeing into the wilderness.
In the years that followed, she kept running for her life, learning to survive and fight with nothing but what her father had taught her. The horrors of hell hold no sway over her resolve to master combat and wage an unending campaign of retribution against the legion.
Vin knows too much, she has seen too much and is locked on a mission to find and kill Matron Harmony. The rigors have taken their toll and she has begun to rely on Wrymwood to help alleviate the nightmares and escape reality for an all too brief respite. She has managed to keep her identity secret so far...as far as she knows.
