Lucifae Carver Before the Battle

Character Name: Lucifae Carver, Half-Elf Light Cleric
Lucifae (Lucy) Carver is a young half-elf who was raised in the fabled Grey Cathedral, where she witnessed the theomachy that tore apart Whitebay firsthand when she was little. Her elven blood gave her strong ties to the sun, attracting the attention of the warring goddess of the light, Pelia. This forced Lucifae to spend her days indoors and only step out of the cathedral at night to avoid Pelia’s wrath.
Lucy grew up and trained as a theomachist of the Grey Cathedral, opposing the warring gods while serving the poor and needy that struggled to survive in the moon-lit, god-blasted ruins of Whitebay.
Her strong convictions drew the attention of the other gods who placed temptations, challenges, and mortal perils in her way during her one-year pilgrimage away from the Grey Cathedral. Lucy’s spirit was not broken, and she joined forces with Rindar, a grizzled orc godbanger paladin, and Caspian, a tricky human sorcerer, to defeat a saint of the god Tempestos who controlled a magic storm over Prisma Desert.
As a saintslayer, Lucy’s fate was sealed as a theomachist hero and an eternal enemy of the warring gods. She played a key role in the theomachy of Neutro, a city under the control of the eponymous demigod, Neutro, who was in fact a trifecta of entropian horrors that ruled through deception and misdirection. Lucy helped defeat the agents of the warring gods to resolve the theomachy there and save the city, which was renamed Salvatia after the death of its tyrannical demigod master. In recognition of her services, and in dire need of spiritual guidance, the city of Salvatia appointed Lucy as the city’s first high priestess, one of the youngest to ever hold this title across the free realms that still oppose the warring gods across Naam. However, not everyone is happy with that decision…
Lucy is one of my own characters in the Theomachy setting! You might remember her from several other works of mine! She is also a proud owner of a Catstaff (one of the first items I’ve made), which she still wields into battle against the warring gods of Naam!
