Creature Spotlight: Tungsten Elemental
Tungsten is hard, heavy, and boasts the highest melting point of all known elements. Tungsten elementals are a rare sight, much like the element they embody, but their size, their weight, and their legendary robustness makes them almost impossible to miss whenever they appear in the world of mortals.
Comparably dense to the densest elementals and more fire resistant than any other, tungsten elementals can casually shake off tremendous amounts of damage that would send most other elementals back to their native dimension. Though lacking in speed and attack power, tungsten elementals can be formidable in the field of battle thanks to their unparalleled durability.
Exotic Mount. At the gamemaster’s discretion, player characters may spend time to earn a tungsten elemental’s trust and persuade it to serve as a powerful exotic mount. This can be a challenging endeavor that requires player characters to be able to communicate in Primordial, obtain special training, and perhaps attempt to impress the tungsten elemental with a feat of undeniable strength and robustness.
