Silanith, Half-Elf Astral Monk and Abyssal Sorceress – D&D Character

Character: Silanith, Half-Elf Astral Monk and Abyssal Sorceress
Silanith's tether to the astral sea has grown strong enough to allow her to manifest pieces of her astral form in the material world, a skill she learned from a Githzerai master.
However, her Gith mentor did not simply train her out of the goodness of his heart. He did so out of necessity, for she bears a dark secret. In Silanith's head resides an illithid larva, dormant and inert. The Gith who rescued her from the clutches of the illithid thought they were too late when they found the wound where the creature entered her eye, but for reasons unknown to any of them, it did not devour and transform her. Sila seeks to find a way to remove her stowaway, using the way her mentor taught her to ensure the creature stays dormant, though she now has the ability to tap into its aberrant power.
