The Last Stand of the Thunderclap Tribe
The goliaths of the Thunderclap Tribe lived a peaceful semi-nomadic life in the Nether Mountains, steering clear of their fire giant neighbors whenever possible. But when the fire giants started dealing with the drow, a peaceful coexistence was no longer possible. The fire giants attacked, bent on exterminating the tribe. During their last stand, Chief Dawncaller was captured. Here, Chief Dawncaller is about to be executed by three fire giant invaders, still clutching Scorn, the ancestral greataxe of the Thunderclap Tribe in his hand.
Years later, the chief’s grandson, one of the last remaining members of the Thunderclap Tribe, will enact an enraged revenge upon the fire giants who destroyed the village of his ancestors.
