Xerastra, Half-Dragon Bard
As a rare half-dragon, Xerastra is able to experience the beauty of life as a mortal through the eyes of someone with a draconic perspective. Cheerful and fun-loving, she respects the insight of her blue dragon relatives while also understanding the wisdom of short-lived mortals.
Xerastra’s draconic nature is strong from her father’s side, but it only adds to her otherworldly elven beauty from her mother’s side. As a deeply magical bard, she laces her exotic dances with dragonmagic and takes great pride in refining and perfecting her art.
Unafraid to flaunt her beauty and her skill, she travels far and wide, often bridging the gap between dragons and mortals with kind words and spectacular performances.
Huata of the Waves, Druid of the Sea
When Temahua the ancient volcano woke up, Huata’s people had to migrate and carve a new life on strange islands. Yet Huata always yearned to return to the ancestral island she never knew.
As soon as she was able, she dragged her father’s canoe back on the sea and sailed towards Temahua’s endless pillar of smoke. When she finally stepped on the island of her ancestors, she whispered to the spirits of nature, begging them to heal the island. To her surprise, it was Temahua, the volcano, who answered back. He told her of his bottomless anger towards evil and insidious beings that dreamt of being gods, and she pledged her life to stop them and restoring balance.
Pleased, Temahua’s fury subsided and he rested again, knowing that if more mortals were like Huata of the Waves, the world would still be there when he woke up again in the next epoch…
Aeolnora, Sea Elf Hydromancer and Storm Cleric
Relying on her powers of prognostication and her command of wind and wave, Aeolnora is one of few sea elves who dare swim away from the magical safety of the mythical underwater kingdom of Amphithalamis to peer at what lies beyond. Her travels have opened Aeolnora’s eyes to the beauties of the world, and when her missions are over, she often rests at places other sea elves would not even dream of seeing.
Using her divination magic, Aeolnora has found rare havens where the power of the gods is weak, blind spots in their not-so-omniscient gaze. These pristine shores where land, sea, and air all come together are Aeolnora’s secret, which she shares only with a few select friends she has made on adventures away from Amphithalamis. Together with her friends, she can enjoy brief but precious moments of carefree fun and relaxation that make the war between gods seem distant.
