A Party of Heroes Resting under Strahd’s Gaze
This heroic party is braving the mists of Barovia, but Count Strahd von Zarovich won’t be caught by surprise! Here, the heroes are resting outside, but not beyond Strahd’s gaze, his power ever-present across Barovia.
The heroes:
Morthos, Tiefling Bard of Lore
Urine, Minotaur Barbarian, plus Jack, his raven friend
Olo, Halfling Rogue and master of disguise
Argent, High Elf Wizard
Orakan, Wood Elf Ranger
Bell, Dwarf Paladin of Morden, plus the actual ghost that’s haunting him
Morthos used to spend his nights enjoying life in the taverns of Waterdeep. Once day, a friend asked him to go to Baldur's Gate with him on a trade run. During the trade run, fog rolled in and then next thing Morthos knew he was in the land of Barovia.
Urine was a marine in a ship company. His group defended defend ships from pirates and helped in landing operations. One day, a dragon decimated his group. Just before the dragon finished Urine off, fog rolled in and then Urine woke up in the basement of a small church, where he met Morthos and the crew fighting a vampire spawn.
Olo is a pirate swashbuckler. He is a good man who has poor luck. He would dress up as different types of people and use deception to get his way. One day, mists enveloped him and he appeared in front of the gates of Barovia.
Bell was a paladin of Moradin. Before Barovia, his family was murdered by a demon and now haunts him for failing to protect them. He never told the group how he ended up in Barovia. The group just found him in the death house. Bell died fighting off evil.
Argen was a wizard apprentice who disappeared in the mist while traveling to another college to collect notes. He appeared in Barovia where he joined forces with the group. Argen died fighting off evil.
Orkan grew up in the woods, hunting undead and stealing for a living. He ended up running into the mist thinking he would fight undead and he appeared at the gates of Barovia with Olo and Argen, and a few others who died.
