Fang Darando'suil, Half-Elf Fighter – D&D Character

Character: Fang Darando'suil, Half-Elf Fighter
Born to the sun elf paladin Thadien Darando'suil and the human druid Val-Sul Vanorax, Fang is the elder child of two, the younger his sister being Lisanna. When his father died defending a village at a young age, his mother moved him and his sister to Waterdeep to live with his cousins and uncle Araku Vanorax. Fang would grow very close to his cousin Haru, Araku's second son. The two were inseparable for almost two decades; whenever Haru got into trouble, Fang would be there to defend his cousin, until one day Haru ran from home, leaving Fang behind.
The following few years were Fang's lowest point. He would become reliant on alcohol and get into underground fighting pits. One night stands out when he met Emily Bermont. The two would complement each other’s fighting skills and share drinks and have a merry time after each fight. In a moment of rare self-reflection Fang challenged Emily to a bet and then hanged out for a week. After that, the two parted ways as Emily was at the time still a pirate captain of some repute and had enemies to deal with. Around that time, Haru returned to Waterdeep in disguise and did not reveal himself to Fang or his family until he had claimed the seat of Openlord and removed Araku.
Three years later, a Lord's Alliance civil war would start between Haru Vanorax and Dagult Neverember. Fang was one of the first casualties of this war, killed by Mercer Falone. To make matters worse, Emily Bermont had turned up in Waterdeep seeking Fang. Finding out he was killed, led to some very harsh words and a reality check for Haru, who sought the help of skilled wizards to find a way to bring Fang back.
Fang’s return from the dead empowered him with new abilities, making him the first Echo Knight of his world, since a past version of himself had been brought forward in time. After Waterdeep's victory in the civil war, Fang married Emily Bermont, and the two spent a four-year honeymoon on the high seas. The scar on his cheek came from a conflict Fang became involved with between his elven Uncle Farendel and his yet to be father-in-law Lucian Bermont.
For now, Fang lives a happy married life.
