My latest D&D Item: Staff of the Aspirant
Given to apprentice spellcasters by their masters as a sign of trust and a test of arcane aptitude, a Staff of the Aspirant is often the first magic item a mage-in-training will obtain.
We designed this staff so it can be upgraded to a mid-tier version that’s also upgradable to a Staff of Power and beyond, following optional rules we made and playtested with my DM!
