Creature Spotlight: Helium Elemental
No one is quite sure whether helium elementals appeared before hydrogen elementals or vice versa, but fact is that both elements and their elemental manifestations are by far their most ancient, having lived through the first eons of the cosmos with only each other for company.
As the first and lightest noble gas elementals, helium elementals are inert, completely serene, and invisible unless they become electrically charged. While they are usually friendly towards other creatures, helium elementals often prefer to quietly contemplate the cosmos in peace, and they don’t take part in chemical reactions with other elementals unless under extreme conditions.
Being so light, helium causes creatures that inhale it to talk in a remarkably high-pitched voice, a property that helium elementals use against those who manage to upset their exceptionally calm disposition.
Pact of the Chain Familiar. At the gamemaster’s discretion, a warlock with a pact of the chain may choose the form of a helium elemental for their familiar.
