Character: Oboro, Sincaran Outcast and Agent of Provostad
Oboro is a Sincaran outcast who now works for the Lighthouse, the Galaxy’s most powerful supercomputer. Between clashes with near-absolute-zero alien cults, ruthless space pirates, and ancient horrors, she also enjoys dancing and creating new outfits.
Even when on a mission, Oboro never wears the same clothes twice, using her very own apparel synthesizer to develop new outfits for everyone to enjoy. She is hardworking and very particular about being constantly original in order to remain relevant in a world where the Lighthouse can do almost anything except replicate the creativity of individual organic creatures.
Oboro is a Sincaran, but has left her homeworld behind long ago, realizing she was incompatible to her culture’s expectations, and found allies in the ultra-progressive, computer-managed world of Provostad. Sincarans are humanoid aliens (thank you, convergent evolution) who are known for their apparent psionic powers, their matriarchal societies, and the violent volcanic activity, meteorite showers and tidal forces of their homeworld, Sincara.
